Llama Llama and Obama

Anna Dewdney has used all the rhymes for llama – pajama, mama, drama, etc. – except for Obama. With the inauguration of the new congress that begins the last part of Obama’s term (and the initial bits of new presidential campaigns), I figured it was time for someone to publish the last book of the Llama Llama series.
So here, without further ado, is Llama Llama and Obama:
Here is the transcript, in case you want the text only:
Llama llama, Election Day
What does our new leader say?
A lot of things to change and do,
A lot of hope for me and you.
Llama llama hears Obama
Llama llama cheers Obama
What Obama says makes sense
Best of all the presidents
Health insurance, higher wages,
Help no matter what your age is!
And then reality returns
But reasoning Obama spurns
Healthcare changes! Executive orders!
Foreign policy and borders!
Llama llama hears Obama
Llama llama jeers Obama
Blogger llama writes a post
‘Bout why Obama scares him most
The IRS learns what he said
Their questioning fills him with dread
Llama llama hears Obama
Llama llama fears Obama
The “most transparent” government
Doesn’t know where emails went
Information’s not forthcoming
Rhetoric that is mind-numbing
Llama llama in a fright
Will his country be all right
Llama llama it’s okay
We’ll have a new Election Day
Obama’s term will finish soon
And you’ll sing a different tune
Llama llama hears Obama
Now there’s no more years Obama
Candidates beg for more votes
Lots of ads and lots of quotes
Llama llama, Election Day
What does our new leader say?
A lot of things to change and do,
A lot of hope for me and you.
Then you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.

Thanks! I was concentrating mostly on the rhymes, but I was pleased that it made sense too. Most of the stuff came from whatever was the headline news during my commute the past few months. And I also read Animal Farm recently.
