Here’s a story that Gamma wrote for kindergarten.
There are 5 pages in the story All About Rabbits.
For each page, I’ll type out what he wrote then I’ll translate it.

Here is my kindergartener’s About Me poster
He filled it out at home and then took it into class at the end of the week. We did add photos to the empty spots.

It’s not our anniversary, but I thought I’d share a poem I wrote for my wife.
I think that I shall never see
A woman lovely quite as thee.A thee who keeps her family fed
By gath’ring food and baking bread;A thee who looks to God all day,
And lifts her holy arms to pray;A thee who may in summer wear
A splash of sunscreen in her hair;Upon whom God bestowed the joys
Of living in a house of boys.Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can bring me thee.
With apologies to Joyce Kilmer.
Also, for those interested, this is not iambic pentameter. It is iambic quadrameter.
He who finds a wife finds a good thing
And obtains favor from the Lord.

We recently attended Lego Fest.
Although the Lego people will tell you that the official name is Lego Kids Fest, everyone calls it Lego Fest.
(If all this sounds familiar, then you might be thinking of what I posted about our trip to Lego Fest back in 2012.)
We started out with the art this time. The art section gives you white square plates and a bunch of single-stud pieces to create your artwork. Then it all gets hung on some walls.
Gamma chose to follow one of their templates:

I was playing hide and seek with Gamma the other day. I was quite amused at the result, but he was so earnest in trying to hide.
I’ll let you try to find him.
Micaiah said, “Behold, you shall see on that day when you enter an inner room to hide yourself.”

Those of you who received a Christmas card from us can skip this post. Everyone has probably already received the Christmas letter (not everyone everyone, just those on our list), so if you have the letter there is no point in viewing the image below.
If you haven’t received our letter yet, then either you’re not on our list or the post office has some explaining to do. If you’re not on our list, the best way to get on our list is to send us a Christmas card or letter. Then we will feel compelled to return the favor.
For those of you interested in what our Christmas letter looks like this year but don’t want to involve the post office, here it is:
This is the copy of the letter which Tattenai, the governor of the province beyond the River, and Shethar-bozenai and his colleagues the officials, who were beyond the River, sent to Darius the king.

One of the things I got for Christmas was the kit where the kids draw on circles of paper and then we send those pieces of paper back to the company and they magically turn them into plates.
It came with 7 papers. I let the kids do them all – the youngest got 1 and the older 3 each got 2. But Beta messed up one piece and tossed it, so we ended up with 6 papers to send in. Here they are:
